ACT – Autonomous Coverage Tester

Are you looking for a versatile and easy to operate autonomous test system for GSM, GPRS and UMTS networks? The Autonomous Coverage Tester (ACT) consists of one or more mobile test units (Black Boxes) which are placed in cars, buses, trains or taxis.

Because of its compactness and small size and its resistance to extreme environmental conditions (e.g. operating temperature range: -20 to +65°C) it is easy to handle and autonomously operate. It provides automatic operation throughout the whole chain of data acquisition, transfer, storage, pre-evaluation and visualisation (by means of 3GMA, FIMAS, RCV). These activities are fully programmable by the user. The so called Fleet Manager serves to define measurement jobs and to store measurement data. An over the air interface allows full remote control - e.g. definition of activities, data transfer, software update.

ACT is made for testing:

• Speech (including ITU-T P 862.1 Speech Quality)
• HTTP (both generic browser and full Internet Explorer® integration)
• FTP
• E-Mail (SMTP/POP3)
• WAP
• Optional: UDP, Video Telephony, SMS, MMS, DVB-H,
  Video Streaming and Web Radio

Several mobiles are available: MotorolaV3xx®, Nokia N95®, Nokia 6630, 6680, 6120, 6720, Samsung Z 107/130, Sagem OT Series.
